Does Those Angled O2 Sensor Defoulers Work??

Hi guys.. I'm pretty sure this has been talked about before I.. Well my max is still in the shop(it's been in there for the past month).. Just got a motor swapped and the car seems to be running healthy again.. Test drove the car and it started misfiring.. CEL starting blinking.. Just got new coils installed yesterday and then today, I just found out my cat converters located on the headers were hollowed(gutted).. Which is throwing the o2 sensor codes.. My guy has an angled defouler available.. I told him to just install it because I just spent a ton of money on the car already and I don't have enough time to locate used cats or order high flow cats..

So the question is has anyone used one of them on the headers location n does it work??..

I've seen them work on a few of my buddys cars. No need for them on my car but theyre fairly cheap. Give it a shot.

I'm late to respond but have them on my 5.5th gen with gutted precats. No CEL's.
